But the journey becomes more adventurous than they expected: Tintin is almost thrown from a train and Haddock meets a llama in close combat. Fortunately, they get help from a young Native Peruan boy, who shows them the secret path to an isolated Inca tribe. There the professor is held captive and must be sacrificed to the sun god.
Captain Haddock is constantly spit in the face by various llamas during the course of the adventure, however, he takes revenge on the end when he fills his mouth with water and sprays a llama.
